In the summer of 2018, two students (middle schoolers at the time, now high schoolers) were given a task, turn $10,000 to $15,000. After days of brainstorming, we decided to open our own jewelry brand. Not something little with a local customer base, but an e-commerce platform which would connect its customers back to their indian heritage from the comfort of their homes. When we first started, we had only a handful of products and no website. We started by doing trade shows just to get a feel of the market and to let people know, there’s someone new in the game. Slowly as we understood how a business works, we decided the best thing to do, would be creating an e-commerce platform. We started by studying other websites and what makes them attractive. We learned photography, how to write captivating product descriptions but still leaving a little bit of a mystery.
Throughout our journey, our most important aspect has been our customer service which has been praised by most of our customers. When customers come to us, they don’t just buy our product, we gain their trust. We provide all of our customers with support 24/7 with free shipping and returns. Regardless of new or returning customers, all have the option of viewing their selections of a video call before spending their money and after.
For our growth over the past three years, we have our customers, friends, and family to thank. They have been with us at every step, providing important feedback and advice. We started off with only some jewelry products and some silver items. Within three years, we have grown that to 10,000 products with something for everyone in the family. We now carry men clothing, kids clothing, religious products, gift items, wedding favors, bridal jewelry, jewelry for every occasion, suits, saree and others dresses for women. We are working with manufacturers across the globe to provide our customers with the best designs and quality.
